Migrations

Move your store over from another platform

Litestore imports products from Shopify or from a CSV file, and customers from a CSV file. For order history, we write a script for your data and check the results with you before your store goes live on Litestore.

  • We plan redirects from your old product URLs so search traffic reaches the new store.
  • We run the import against a copy first, so your live store isn't affected.

How a project runs

Every project starts with a call about your store and a written scope. You approve a fixed price before we write any code.

We scope the work before we start and give you one price for it. If the scope changes, we confirm the change with you first.

Your repository

We work in your own copy of Litestore, so the code is yours from the first commit and you can keep working on it after we're done.

Help after launch

We include support for the weeks after launch in the scope, so you have a contact if something goes wrong.

Development partners

Partners are agencies and freelance developers who build Litestore stores for their clients and look after them afterwards. We list each partner on this page with the services they offer and where they work, and we send projects their way when our own team is fully booked. We're putting together the first list of partners now.

  • Partners set their own rates and sign their own contracts with clients.
  • You need to have built or migrated at least one store with Litestore.
  • Agencies that build stores for clients can also read the agencies page.
