Home
The admin home page holds the AI assistant, the work queue and the setup guide.
The Help Center explains how you run your store day to day. It starts with the admin home page, which is the first page the admin shows after you sign in. The page has the assistant at the top and the work that is waiting for you underneath it.
Ask your store
The Ask your store box is at the top of the home page. You type a question in plain words, and the assistant answers it from the store's own data. If you're not sure what to ask, the box suggests a few questions, such as "How did sales go this week?" and "Which products are about to run out of stock?"
The assistant can also prepare changes, like a discount code or a price update. Those changes don't happen until you approve them. The AI assistant page explains how this works, and the pages after it answer the questions store owners ask most.
If the store doesn't have an AI provider yet, the box is replaced by a message that asks you to connect one.
Waiting for you
Next to the assistant, in a card called To do, the home page lists the work that needs you right now. Each row shows how many items are waiting and links to the list where you deal with them. Litestore checks for these kinds of work:
| Row | Where it links to |
|---|---|
| Orders to fulfil | Orders that still need to be shipped |
| Orders with payment pending | Orders whose payment hasn't arrived |
| Disputes awaiting a response | The disputes list |
| Refund requests to review | Refunds waiting for approval |
| Returns to review | Returns customers have requested |
| Open conversations | The messages inbox |
| Reviews to moderate | Reviews waiting for approval |
| Affiliate applications to review | Creator applications in Collabs |
A row only appears when it has something in it. When you ship the orders or answer the messages, the row disappears by itself, so there's nothing to tick off.
Setup guide
While the store isn't fully set up, the home page also shows a setup guide: add your first product, set up payments, shipping and taxes, fill in the store details and configure email sending. It shows how many steps are done, and each step is checked against the store's real data. It disappears once every step is done.
Computed values
Litestore calculates three things automatically, so nobody has to update them by hand. This section describes each of them, so it's clear when no action is needed.
Social proof on products
Litestore decides which proof a shopper sees on a product from the product's own facts: units sold, recent sales, stock left, the sale end date and when it was published.
12 sold / 1k+ sold
Selling fast
Only 3 left

Bestseller
NewA product card shows one chip, the most urgent one first, and the product page shows the proof strip. The thresholds (for example 50 units for Bestseller and 14 days for New) are fixed in Litestore's code, so there is nothing to switch on or tune in the admin.
Sale prices
A sale price applies whenever the current time is between the start and end dates you set. Litestore checks the dates each time it reads the price.
Because of this, no background job is needed to start or end a sale. Once you set the dates, the sale begins and ends on schedule.
Scheduled collections
Scheduled collections are the only item here that depends on a background job.
Every five minutes, a task publishes the collections whose scheduled time has passed. Litestore only publishes a collection if it passes the same check that runs when you publish it by hand.

Work queue
Start with the To do rows next to the assistant. They're the only part of the home page that shows work still waiting for you.
Questions for the assistant
Ask the assistant how the store is doing, for example "How did sales go this week?" or "What's about to run out of stock?". It answers with tables and charts, for any date range you name.
Recent changes
Ask the assistant who changed something and when. Each order page also shows that order's own history.
